Beausejour Stadium, Gros Islet: Sunday 21 July 2013 09:00 (day 1 of 1)

Toss: Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl.

Result: Pakistan win by 6 wickets (D/L Method)

Pakistan 1st innings

End of Over 30 (15 runs)
Bowler: Dwayne Bravo
Pakistan: 189-4 (rr 6.30)

29.6
Leg Bye
Bravo to Akmal. Yorker, down leg side on the front foot working, mis-timed to leg gully for no runs. And that is victory for Pakistan. Very much deserved in the end as they were positive from ball one after the long rain delay. Despite a couple of wickets, WI had no reply to Misbah and then Umar Akmal who finished off proceedings with a swift 29. Captain Misbah ended 53 not out, yet again seeing his team home to victory. That is 2-1 to Pakistan in the series now, so they ensure they cannot lose this series with one to play.

Catch
OUT! Caught. Bravo to Afridi. Length ball, middle stump on the front foot pulling, mis-timed in the air uncontrolled to deep mid wicket, fielded by Simmons. Shahid Afridi was never likely to approach this innings any other way than attacking, but this has proven his downfall as he flat bats a shorter delivery straight down the throat of Lendl Simmons at deep mid wicket. Pakistan probably still favourites, but with every wicket and dot ball, WI will feel they are still in this game.

The half volley is driven by Hafeez but Bravo dives low to take an excellent catch. This may stem Pakistan's flow a little, although next man in is "Boom Boom" Afridi.
