Rowe heads to Wales
England women batter Susie Rowe will visit Wales tomorrow to continue her role as a coaching ambassador for the Chance to Shine project.
The 24-year-old, who has played 13 Twenty20s and a sole one-day international for England, will work with Wales’ most talented junior girls and coaches.
Rowe said: “I’m really looking forward to coming across to Wales to work with Cricket Wales’ Emerging Player Programme, to inspire the girls to continue to work hard, and to show the newcomers what a wonderful sport cricket is.”
Cricket Wales performance manager John Derrick added: “Wales’ most talented girls have worked harder this winter than ever before. It is a great opportunity for them to learn from Susie and for us to gain feedback on our progress.”
