ECB logo - small version

The Lancashire Disability Incrediball squad are grateful to Middleton Rotarians who have generously awarded them £1,260.

The funding will help to give more opportunities to people with disabilities from Middleton, where the club are based, and the surrounding areas and will also provide additional support to the Incrediball squad itself.

The aspirations of the squad are to improve both skill and confidence levels every year.

The squad currently has players who have been selected to train with the England Disability squads, both in Physical and Learning.

Bobby Denning, Lancashire Cricket Board Assistant Director/Head of Development, said the cash injection was a tremenous boost.

"The award from Middleton Rotarians is another wonderful gesture which will significantly impact on the squad. I speak on behalf of the LCB and the squad in saying that the generosity of the Rotarians is sincerely appreciated."

The Incrediball squad will start their open training sessions in April at Middleton Cricket Club and anybody with a disability is welcome to attend at no cost. Coaching will be provided by three qualified ECB coaches.
