England and Wales share spoils
Honours were shared when England A and Wales A met in a disability cricket double-header at Old Trafford last month.
In the first match in the zodiac category, which is for a high level of disability, England batted first and scored 97 for seven.
Phil Ramsbotham made an unbeaten 15 while for Wales Alex Williams and Chris Quigley both took two wickets.
In reply Wales made 101 for five with Graham Busby and Danny Baggott making 24 and 19 respectively. Mark Pickersgill took 2-16.
England hit back in the zenith category match which is for players of medium levels of disability.
In a game that went down to the final over, England had Steve Wiltshire and Dave Hassall to thank for their narrow victory.
Earlier, Steve Dancer made 18 as Wales sent England 98 to win. John Foulkes took two wickets for England.
In the third match of the day, for zodiac cricketers, Perth & Kinross beat a CFPD Select XI by 57 runs.
Douglas Wright, from the Perth & Kinross side, was awarded player of the tournament.
