England Deaf team suffer loss
England suffered their first defeat of the 2005 Deaf Cricket World Cup after going down to a nailbiting one-wicket defeat against old rivals Australia.
England batted first and made 214 all out from 49.4 overs to set the reigning champions a challenging total to chase.
However, it wasn’t enough as the Aussies, requiring eight runs off the final three balls, squeezed over the line with a ball to spare to finish on 215 for nine.
