Australia overpower England

Australia inflicted a 145-run defeat on England at the MCG to make it two wins from two games in the Lord’s Taverners Tri-series.

The hosts followed up yesterday’s 67-run victory against South Africa at the Junction Oval in St Kilda in convincing fashion.

Australia racked up 213 for four but England were shot out for 68.

England face South Africa tomorrow at Trinity Grammar School.
