The two sides that meet at Nevil Road in Bristol will follow in the footsteps of a number of international cricketers

This year's British Blind Sport Cricket Primary Club national knockout cup final will take place at Nevil Road in Bristol.

The final, which is scheduled for Saturday 13th August, is the third in succession to be played at an international ground following Edgbaston in 2009 and the Rose Bowl last season.

“It’s terrific to have secured another international cricket ground to host the cup final," said BBS Cricket Chairman Dave Gavrilovic.

"I’m looking forward to staging our final at such a high quality venue and to taking blind cricket to a new audience. I would like to offer my particular thanks to Peter Hall and Tom Richardson at Gloucestershire CCC for their support and help with putting everything together.

"Further thanks go to the Primary Club for their excellent funding of the competition."
