England Visually Impaired suffered two losses from two at the start of their campaign in the T20 World Cup for VI Cricketers, following defeat to Pakistan yesterday with another to India in Bangalore.

Both Asian teams - the two leaders in VI cricket - were expected two in win, being made up of only full-time professional players.

Luke Sugg's side went down by 174 runs today after hundreds from India captain Shaker Naik and his deputy Ajay Kumar Reddy, whose 34-ball ton was the fastest in the format.

Naik and Reddy shared a double-century stand with the latter hitting 27 fours in his 131 from 48 deliveries while the former ended unbeaten on 134 off 58 in a total of 325 for three that would have been more but for some fine fielding.

Two wickets each for Reddy and Subash Bhoya limited England to 151 for seven in reply, Sugg top-scoring for his team with 48 and Hassan Khan making 32.

England, who face Bangladesh tomorrow, still have six group games in which to pursue a place in the semi-finals.
