England got the better of their Welsh opponents at a Junior Disability Cricket Festival which was held at Oxford Brookes.

Wales, known as the 'Scorpions', won the toss, batted first and were bowled out for 68 in 12 overs. Alex Williams top scored with 25 while Danny Bagget added 21.

For England, dubbed the 'Tigers', Liam Walsh was the pick of the attack with three wickets, well backed up by Hugh O'Reilley who claimed two.

Wales made a perfect start with the ball, Bagget taking two wickets in the first over as England stuttered in their reply.

But England's Sam Hoskin kept a cool head and saw his side home for the loss of three wickets with an innings of 21 that included three boundaries.
