England's Jones and ECB Chairman help St Fagans
England bowler Simon Jones and ECB chairman David Morgan visited St Fagans CC in Cardiff to add a gloss to their NatWest CricketForce 2006 weekend.
Also on hand to help were a healthy contingent of Glamorgan players including Darren Thomas, Mark Wallace, David Harrison, Adam Harrison, William Bragg and Huw Waters, who joined team-mate Jones in helping with the painting at the ground plus coaching the St Fagans youngsters.
On Sunday, David Morgan paid a visit to the club to present them with their commemorative NatWest CricketForce 2006 plaque.
In return the club presented the ECB chairman with a framed landscape photograph of the Club.
Overall the St Fagans event was a huge success, attracting over 100 volunteers to take part. Projects completed included:
- refurbishing the Bar Area
- painting the sightscreens
