Kingfisher Quiz and Curry Night

Kingfisher Quiz Curry Night

Kingfisher Beer, India’s No. 1, are rolling out their ‘Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night’ in early March; a new fundraising initiative for club cricket in association with the Professional Cricketers Association (PCA).

Kingfisher recently signed a three-year partnership with ECB to sponsor the National Championship, re-named the Kingfisher Beer Cup.

Last year’s Champions Shrewsbury, along with 255 other clubs in England and Wales will compete this year to win the £5,000 winner’s cheque.

The Kingfisher Quiz & Curry Night initiative launches on March 5, inviting predominantly amateur cricket clubs to host their own interactive quiz nights and drive important investment into the recreational game.

Quiz packs will be available to download from the Kingfisher website and consist of two great, interactive sports quiz videos hosted by Graeme Swann as well as a host of PCA Ambassadors; Darren Gough, Phil Tufnell and Alec Stewart. The quiz packs also include all the essentials required to run a successful Quiz and Curry Night, including handy tips, advertising posters, ticket templates and answer sheets.

Graeme Swann, England’s leading spin bowler, fresh from England T20's series victory in Abu Dhabi said: “I think the Kingfisher Quiz and Curry Night is a great idea. For one, it gets me beamed around cricket clubs across the country which has to be a good thing, and it’s a great way to raise money for clubs, as clubs rely on activity like this and it’s a fun way of doing it!”

How do I access the Kingfisher Quiz and Curry Night?
