NatWest CricketForce - FSL Scoreboard offer
FSL is the longest established electronic cricket scoreboard manufacturer in the UK.
For their first year as Official Supporter of NatWest CricketForce, they are making available their revolutionary ALMS (Advertise Local, Mimic Scoreboard) System to all CricketForce registered clubs, allowing them to earn money from their scoreboard and help ensure sustainability in the current economic climate.
The ALMS software allows clubs to generate income from sponsors and local advertisers as well as giving a mimic of the scoreboard for the bar area.
See www.fslelectronics.com for full details.
In addition, they will be offering four years interest free credit on a number of models ensuring the scoreboard is making money for the club right from day one.
Details of proposal:
A key feature in FSL’s strategy to clubs is to help them view an electronic scoreboard as a potential for revenue generation as opposed to a capital expenditure.
This concept is slowly taking shape in clubs that are more and more cash strapped now that sponsorship is getting harder to obtain.
Their ALMS system is a unique product that allows clubs to sell advertising/sponsorship with no overheads (in terms of signage etc) allowing them to raise funds while also displaying real-time scores and club messages.
Current users are finding that the advertising is much easier to sell due to the fact that the adverts are combined with items of interest such as scores and club messages.
What this means is that the club should not only be able to get the scoreboard paid for in full by small sponsor adverts but it will also encourage them to become more aware of raising local sponsorship for their club to help pay for other running costs.
This system consists of a PC, with pre-loaded advertising software, club messaging software, scoreboard viewing software, 19” LCD screen, scoreboard receiver and aerial (for picking up the scoreboard updates).
The system will also have an output so that the club can connect to larger LCD screens that may already be in position around the bar area. Total value of the system is £1,000 + VAT.
The FSL mimic scoreboard has three functions:
1 - It displays all the information from the main scoreboard onto a screen. It is updated 'live' each time a score is recorded on the main scoreboard and goes to sleep when nothing is happening
2 - Along the top of the screen is a permanent rolling message board. The club can use this for messages and bulletins about club events etc.
3 - The main screen, when not displaying scoreboard information, can display adverts from local or national sponsors.
The mimic is supplied with user friendly software so that clubs can add sponsors when they get them.
