The ECB has teamed up with The Institute of Groundsmanship to provide a programme of progressive training courses for the management of cricket pitches.
The scheme consists of three levels of structured training offered in four courses (or combined in a single five-day course):
Level One
Part A - Spring Preparation and Summer Maintenance (1 day)
Part B - Autumn Renovation and Winter Maintenance (1 day)
Level Two
Understanding the Science (2 days)
Level Three
Sports Turf Management (2 days)
To gain maximum benefit, it is strongly recommended that individuals should attend the courses in the correct sequence.
The courses are suitable for you whether you are a club groundsman, volunteer, school groundsman or contractor.
