CricketForce passes 1,000 mark

More than 1,000 clubs have already registered to take part in NatWest CricketForce 2008 as we get to within two months of this year's event.

But there is still plenty of time for your club to join in, and take advantage of the many benefits, including discounts on a whole range of products and services from the Official Supporters of NatWest CricketForce.

And you can register online now - right now!

NatWest CricketForce encourages cricket supporters, their friends and families to give something back to their local community cricket club by volunteering to undertake major renovations to clubhouses and grounds.

NatWest CricketForce 2007 was another stunningly successful event, with more than 80,000 volunteers turning out on a sunlit weekend at more than 1,150 clubs, bringing £35m value in kind to the game.

It meant that in the last three years around 200,000 volunteers have contributed time and energy to community cricket clubs.

And now for NatWest CricketForce 2008, with the chance not only to build on the success of recent years but also - on the weekend of April 4, 5 and 6 2008 - to focus on green issues in cricket.

Yorkshire were the first county to have 100 clubs register for NatWest CricketForce 2008. Lancashire were the nearest with 81 clubs, then Cheshire with 64 clubs. And the totals are mounting across the country.
