Chipping-Sodbury-CC---NatWest CricketForce 2009

Clubs need volunteers to make NatWest CricketForce a success - you can paint a sightscreen ahead of the new season

Sawley & Long Eaton Park and Tamworth Cricket & Hockey Club have continued their preparations for NatWest CricketForce by producing a newsletter ahead of the big weekend.

The two clubs are part of a record number taking part in this year's grassroots event which will run from 8th-10th April.

Derbyshire-based club Sawley & Long Eaton Park are one of three showcase clubs and they are hoping local volunteers will help them before NWCF kicks off in earnest.

They need painters, builders, a plumber, plasterer and electrician for a pre-event works party on Saturday 19th March. Email jo.slater@uk.pkf.com if you can help out.

Organisers at Tamworth are also calling out for people to help them over NWCF.

While a number of big projects are already complete - the club has a new kitchen and net facility - there are smaller jobs which need completing.

If you think you can spare an hour to slop some paint on a dressing room wall or fit some lights in the scorebox, then email tamworthcc@sky.com.
