CricketForce heads to Wales
Pontblyddyn Cricket Club in North East Wales rated this year's NatWest CricketForce as the best in their history.
"This has to be the best CricketForce ever," said the club's Tony Moss.
"We really did achieve so much and the ground is now looking fantastic as a result.
"What a tremendous effort by everyone concerned. We painted, dug, nailed, cut and cleaned and achieved everything that we set out to do. The weather was kind which was a superb bonus."
The club repaired and painted the sightscreens and boundary fences, strimmed the outfield, cleaned up the ground's entrance and changing rooms as well as repairing the holes in the car park.
A heap of rubble was moved to the nets and old garage, the old garage roof was repaired, the patio was weeded, the internal lighting and electric supply to the scoreboard was fixed and the balcony rails were painted.
"A big thank you to you all," added Moss. "You were all brilliant and the club is all the better for your efforts. There was club spirit in abundance - let's keep it going into the season."
