NatWest CricketForce sees volunteers of all ages coming together to support their local cricket club.

A record 1,642 clubs signed up for last year's event with 85,000 volunteers helping clubs in their chosen projects which range from building new pavilions to painting advertising boards or from cleaning guttering to laying new cricket nets. There are a huge number of jobs which clubs need to undertake before the start of a new season.

A number of England internationals joined in the latest initiative with England captains Andrew Strauss and Charlotte Edwards picking up a paintbrush at Harrow St Mary's CC while Graeme Swann popped in to help at Gedling Colliery CC and James Anderson lent a hand at Scarborough CC.

The NatWest CricketForce 2011 weekend will take place on the weekend of the 8th, 9th and 10th April. It only takes two minutes to register for NatWest CricketForce so don't delay. Click here to register and to read more information on this fantastic programme.
