An aerial photograph of Addington Village Cricket Club reveals a picturesque setting in the rich Kent countryside

England spinner James Tredwell is set to be among the many volunteers at Addington Village Cricket Club this weekend as the NatWest CricketForce swings into action.

Providing he has returned from England’s tour of Bangladesh in time, Tredwell will join Kent team-mates Simon Cook and Matt Coles, as well as team director Paul Farbrace, in helping renovate the club’s facilities.

The weekend will be the culmination of their latest development projects - including a pavilion extension, new garage workshop, spectator balcony and new practice nets.

They are also set to embark on a children's playground extension.

The club has invested approximately £200,000 in new facilities in recent years, ably supported by countless volunteers.
