Worcs get involved with CricketForce
Worcestershire are doing their bit for NatWest CricketForce by sending out an army of players to help clubs around the county.
Fourteen Academy and professional players, including Alexei Kervezee and Imran Arif, will trade in their cricket whites for overalls as they join an estimated 85,000 volunteers across the country.
Matt Pardoe, who helped kickstart the event at Old Wulfrunians Tettenhall CC last week, will lend a land at Kidderminster CC this weekend, while Barnards Green, Bromsgrove, Chaddsley, Cheadle, Halesowen and Pershore will also benefit from a visit from players.
NatWest CricketForce has grown every year since its inception in 2002, and this year a record 1,642 clubs will spend the weekend improving their facilities.
