Lingfield CC, where it all began

Lingfield CC carried out the first ever CricketForce day in 2002. This provided a launch pad for the club and over the last five years the club has been re-vitalised and has now more than doubled the number of youngsters playing cricket and increased the number of senior sides from four to eight.

This case study reviews what has happened at the club over the last five years and how CricketForce has helped the club achieve many of its original goals:

Congresbury CC

Congresbury Recreation Club has formed a successful working partnership with the Avon and Somerset Probation Area. One day a week a group of offenders, who have Community Service Orders, work at the Recreation Club under the guidance of a co-ordinating supervisor. Find out more:

Haworth CC

A small club just off the Pennine Way near the Yorkshire/Lancashire border, with spectacular views, Haworth now has a bigger presence in the community thanks to NatWest CricketForce - find out how:

Hampset CC

NatWest CricketForce 2007 Hampset

The Somerset club grasped the opportunity to be a showcase club for ECB - and attracted over 250 people to participate and enjoy the visit of the NatWest Roadshow and three Somerset and England cricketers, Andy Caddick, Marcus Trescothick and Ian Blackwell and Steph Davies from Bath and Somerset women’s team. Bells Yew Green CC

The Sussex village club reported over £5,000 of materials and equipment donated in the run up to their weekend of work; which then saw around 1,200 hours or £18,000 of volunteer time donated! Find out more about how they achieved this below:

Arkley CC

Fed up with being quoted high prices for sightscreens, Arkley CC decided to do it themselves...and built their own! Find out more in their case study:

Wavertree CC

The Merseyside club was one of five selected by ECB to receive a donation of £500 worth of tiles and tile products from H&R Johnson, one of NatWest CricketForce's Official Supporters. This helped them off on their project; read all about it below:

Sileby CC

The Leicestershire club were helped by ECB to showcase their event; and 250 people attended, providing c.£30,000 volunteer value, with materials to the value of £6,000 donated. Read more below:

Llantwit Fardre CC

The Welsh club took part in NatWest CricketForce for the first time in 2007, forming part of the overall impetus to prepare for its centenary year in 2008:
