Lisvane CC
The club had been searching for a ground around Cardiff for 30 years. In late 2007 Cardiff YMCA agreed to rent them their disused facility, unused for six years and in a poor state of repair. NatWest CricketForce in 2008 allowed them to accelerate their renovation plans.

Apperley CC
Based in Gloucestershire, Apperley joined forces with a Community Payback Team to complete a number of renovations at their club, including painting the pavilion and sightscreens, building a new path and levelling an area for their proposed net area.

Ashington CC
The former club of England fast bowler Steve Harmison, Ashington boasts a thriving junior section. However, the club wanted to forge links with Wansbeck Primary School - a move which has since proved exceedingly popular with pupils joining up in their droves.

Bells Yew Green CC
Despite being a tiny village in East Sussex, Bells Yew Green is a cricket club going places. With more than 200 junior members augmenting a busy adult set-up, the club are now very close to completing their new pavilion. The NatWest CricketForce weekend, where volunteers completed numerous jobs all over the ground, means the opening date of the pavilion has been brought forward.

Cheadle Hulme CC
This forward-thinking club, based in Cheshire, has undertaken a tremendous amount of work on increasing membership and improving facilities. Around 200 volunteers helped out on NatWest CricketForce weekend with thousands of pounds of materials, sponsorship and labour being provided by members.

Chipping Sodbury CC
One of the most established clubs in the Bristol area, housing some nine youth teams, Chipping Sodbury is flooded with members. However, pre and post-season preparation had traditionally been left to a handful of volunteers but the NatWest CricketForce weekend has attracted a new contingent who will help renovate the facilities.

Farsley CC
Farsley is a club with an illustrious past - Ray Illingworth came through their junior ranks - but they can also look forward to a bright future after taking part in NatWest CricketForce. The Yorkshire-based club, who were formed in 1864, completed £150,000 of development work for an outlay of less than £20,000, work which included renovating the clubhouse. Externally, new patio and decking areas have been added while new artificial pitch and mobile nets are also now in operation.

Hambledon CC
The cradle of cricket rocked to NatWest CricketForce 2008 and saw the club rise from the ashes, literally, as their burned out pavilion was replaced by a beautiful wooden new build befitting the download scenery.

Hampset CC
The Bath based club have been involved in NatWest CricketForce since 2005, becoming a national showcase club two years later when more than 370 volunteers turned out over the weekend. Marcus Trescothick, Andy Caddick and Ian Blackwell turned out too, as did Steph Davies who plays for Somerset Women. More than £55,000 of work was done to the ground.

Hertford CC
For Hertford, NatWest CricketForce has been a huge success. Despite a few reservations before the project started, the club pulled in 350 volunteers over three days to complete all of their tasks. Involving 23 different companies, who donated £30,000 of labour and materials, the club underwent a significant make over. Another plus point was attracting enough new members to create a Fifth XI.

Kirby Muxloe CC
Kirby Muxloe's story is proof that triumph can come from adversity. A small village club in Leicestershire, but one with big ideas, Kirby Muxloe lost their bowling machine to a burglary - an incident which prompted a move to demolish their rotten portacabin pavilion and build a brand new version. Staggeringly, their new pavilion was constructed in just two weeks thanks to the hard work and generosity of a large number of volunteers.

Lingfield CC
The Surrey club carried out the first ever NatWest CricketForce project in 2002 and has gone from strength to strength since then. They have doubled the number of men's teams, increased junior membership two-fold to 200 and introduced a women's team. Lingfield also built two state-of-the-art outdoor nets, the £20,000 cost all met through donations.

Macknade CC
Located just outside Faversham in Kent, Macknade have taken part in NatWest CricketForce weekends since 2005 with impressive results. In 2007 they received £15,000 of donated materials and specialist help and had more than 70 volunteers helping around the ground.

Shepperton CC
Found next to the River Thames, Shepperton has undergone an amazing transformation in recent years, highlighted by the demolition and rebuilding of their pavilion. Help from volunteers has been crucial though - they received £30,000 of skilled labour and more than £20,000 of materials from volunteers while 150 attended the NatWest Cricket Force weekend.

Shotley Bridge CC
A club that boasts Paul Collingwood as one of it's old boys, Shotley Bridge has completed an enormous amount of work - much of it down to volunteers. Not only has the scoreboard, now electric, changing rooms, bar and net area been revamped, the number of junior members is now approaching 200. In all, the club estimate that £10,000 of work was completed on NatWest CricketForce weekend.

Sileby Town CC
The club from Leicestershire, which has achieved the ECB Clubmark, drew up a long list for the 2007 NatWest CricketForce weekend - one that saw them featured as a showcase club. With more than 250 volunteers attending over the two days, they completed the vast majority of tasks, saving £30,000 in labour costs.

South Newton CC
The Wiltshire club boast a picturesque ground but until recently had to put up with out of date facilities. However, with the generousity of members and bundles of hardwork, South Newton revamped their pavilion - it now has running water and electricity - and built a net to augment other work done around the ground.

St James's Montefiore
St James's Montefiore, founded 150 years ago, play at a picturesque ground in East Sussex. However, it was deep in snow on NatWest CricketForce weekend. More than 150 volunteers were not put off though and the clubhouse was completely redecorated and the ground given a general makeover. There were more benefits from the weekend, which saw 22 different companies and organisations involved, as the club attracted a new sponsor as a direct result of NatWest CricketForce.

Steeton CC
Based in Yorkshire, Steeton have held NatWest CricketForce weekends since 2005. However, with a long list of chores in 2007, the club decided to spread the jobs over a month - a move which resulted in volunteers, both young and old, painting the pavilion, washing advertising boards and assembling a new sight screen.

Tavistock CC
Established in 1849, Tavistock is the second oldest club in Devon and boasts former umpire David Shepherd as a member. The club set a number of objectives before NatWest CricketForce and with 60 volunteers attending, completed every task, including refurbishing the clubhouse and changing rooms. The weekend also helped boost colts membership which increased by 26 per cent.

Tynemouth CC
Dating back to 1847, Tynemouth is a club with great history. Unfortunately, the years of wear and tear have taken their toll on the dilapidated pavilion. But, with the support of members and the local community, a £250,000 overhaul took place and with junior members doubling to 234 and sponsorship increasing tenfold, the club's future looks bright.
