Ombersley get Worcestershire treatment
Worcestershire CCC selected Ombersley Cricket Club as a local showcase club for NatWest CricketForce 2007- and three players and the Director of Cricket visited on Saturday March 31.
Ben Smith, Steven Davies and Richard Jones, along with Steve Rhodes, Director of Cricket, got stuck in to helping renovate and rejuvenate Ombersley, by picking up paint brushes and lending a hand.
Worcestershire had 44 affiliated clubs registered among the 1150 nationally. That surpassed the 36 clubs that took part in last year’s event.
