NatWest OSCAs - The Pyramid

NatWest OSCAs focus

  • To recognise those who give of their time freely to the game of cricket
  • To value and to thank every volunteer – male and female, young and not so young, able and disabled at club, county and national level

Aims of the NatWest OSCAs programme

  • To recognise and thank volunteers
  • To promote and develop volunteering in cricket
  • To contribute to the future of the game

How the NatWest OSCAs work

  • Volunteers from all levels of the game are nominated using an online form
  • The nominator will describe why their nominee is worthy of recognition – in 150 words!
  • The County rep and his/her team will decide on who from their county will attend the event at Lord’s
  • A panel of outside judges will select the overall OSCA winners

Every nominee will be an NatWest OSCA winner and as such will receive a certificate.

Much as we would like to invite all those nominated to the event at Lord’s – we are unable to do so. We do however very much hope that all clubs will hold their own mini OSCAs event in order to recognise their nominated volunteers.

We would also urge the County Boards to celebrate all of their OSCA nominees by holding an awards evening or similar.

Our aim is for nominees to go from club to county to national level...
