BT volunteers online in Hallam
As part of BT Volunteer Cricket Day - where company employees helped out at grassroots level - Mick Hughes and his team lent a hand a Hallam Cricket Club.
The Sheffield-based club, who have two grounds, were grateful for the assistance.
"I want to express the thanks of my club for the voluntary work Mick Hughes and his team of colleagues gave working on our grounds at Crimicar Lane and Sandygate," said club secretary Richard Storer.
"It made a big difference and was really appreciated. If Mick could have seen both grounds in the last week with hundreds of under-nines and their parents excitedly taking part in a tournament, playing across the facilities his team had worked on and really enjoying their day, he would have been delighted.
"Small amateur clubs such as ours always struggle to make ends meet and to deal with all the jobs that need doing to make facilities available for adults and young people to play sport.
"It is a huge help to have the support of organisations such as BT and individuals such as Mick and his team."
