Welcome to a special episode of the ECB Podcast which followed a dramatic day at Lord's where Andrew Strauss announced his retirement from cricket.
There is reaction from the former captain as well as the new man in charge, Alastair Cook, while Hugh Morris, Managing Director - England Cricket, also paid tribute to the outgoing skipper.
It completed a difficult few days for England who suffered a heavy defeat at the Ageas Bowl in the second NatWest Series clash. Cook and opposite number AB de Villiers gave their thoughts.
Last weekend saw Hampshire Royals win the Friends Life t20, much to the delight of Dimitri Mascarenhas, Chris Wood and Danny Briggs who all give their verdict on the win. For Andrew Gale, captain of runners-up Yorkshire Carnegie, it was a bitter-sweet day, the disappointment of losing tempered by a place in the Champions League.
Continuing the Twenty20 theme, Sussex won the women's competition on Bank Holiday Monday and the victorious captain Caroline Atkins spoke after lifting the trophy.
