The application process for ECB Media Accreditation for the 2012 domestic and international cricket season in England and Wales is now open.
Prior to submitting an application, please carefully read the following documents:
All applications must be made through the ECB’s online application website at accred.ecb.co.uk
Previous applicants from 2009, 2010 and 2011 can use the same username (email address) and password to login to the online system. Login credentials can be changed after login by clicking on the ‘Your Account’ tab.
All applicants are reminded that it is imperative that registrations are made with the applicant’s individual email address and not that of the sports desk/assignments administrator/editor or a generic company email address as important information regarding media attendance at matches will be sent to this registration address throughout the season.
Any queries regarding ECB Media Accreditation should be directed to the Media Operations Team via email to accreditation@ecb.co.uk.
12 March – Early Season Deadline – Applications submitted before this date that are subsequently approved will be processed and passes posted to applicants in time for the start of the domestic season. Applications received after this date will be administered on a rolling process through the season, however successful applicants may not receive their passes in time for the start of the domestic season.
2 April – West Indies and Australia Media
3 May – South Africa Media
11 July – Final Deadline – All applications for season passes must be submitted by this date. Passes for successful applicants will be posted out as soon as practicably possible.
ECB Media Accreditation is intended for media wishing to attend domestic matches at Venues in multiple Counties and for all planned attendance at men’s international matches and the domestic finals. Media who only require access to Venues within a single County or limited access to selected domestic games through the season are required to apply to the respective County for a County-specific accreditation or match passes/tickets as and when required.
ECB Media Accreditation is valid for all matches at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Media who only require access to non-major matches at Lord’s can apply to the MCC at www.lords.org
