Women's YC programme expanded
The ECB has collaborated with Marylebone Cricket Club to enhance and expand the MCC Women’s Young Cricketers programme. Fourteen players have been chosen for the 2012 intake.

The England and Wales Cricket Board has renewed its broadcasting agreement with Channel 5. The terrestrial station will continue to show highlights of international cricket from 2014-17.
Extra women’s T20 series revealed
The ECB has announced fixtures for an additional NatWest Women’s T20 Series in September 2012. The first two games will be played immediately before England men take on South Africa in T20s.
BBC extends radio coverage
The ECB has announced a new six-year deal with BBC Sport for the radio rights to broadcast ball-by-ball commentary on international cricket from 2014 to 2019 including England home games.
