The 2010 international season will commence on May 27 with the first npower Test v Bangladesh at Lord’s. Following the second npower Test at Old Trafford, the Bangladesh team will head off to participate in the Asia Cup.
The England team will then play an ODI in Scotland on June 19 in the lead-in to the five-match NatWest Series v Australia. The three-match NatWest Series v Bangladesh then follows.
As previously announced, ECB has agreed with PCB and CA to host a programme of cricket between Pakistan and Australia which had been due to be held in Pakistan – two Twenty20 internationals will be played at Edgbaston on July 5 and 6, followed by Tests at Lord’s and Headingley Carnegie starting on July 13 and 21 respectively.
England then play Pakistan in a four-match npower Test series with matches staged at Trent Bridge, Edgbaston, the Brit Oval and Lord’s.
The teams then play two NatWest Twenty20 internationals at the SWALEC Stadium followed by five one-day internationals in the NatWest Series.
The Rose Bowl will be the venue for the ever-popular t20 finals day on Saturday 14 August while the final round of LV= County Championship matches, to be played from September 13-16, and the new ECB 40-over final at Lord’s on Saturday 18 September will provide an exciting climax to the domestic season.

Is eng v pak odi on 17th sept floodlit or not? ECB: Yes, definitely is. 1pm start When shall I expect international dates for 2011 season to be released? For summer 2009, dates were announced in May 2008 but for 2010 they were announced in September 2009 so I don't when they will be announced? Thanks. ECB: no fixed announcement date. Latter half of summer onwards

I totally agree with Paul Singh about the timing of the 3 odis.
(ecb.co.uk editor: 'Please see Hours of Play for Cricket in 2010 for full timing details')

I guess the eng v pak t20 internationals will start at 2.30pm and 7pm but will the edgbaston t20 internationals pak v aus start at 5.30pm or 7pm? Also why are 3 odis (3rd odi v ban at edgbaston, and 1st and 3rd odis at durham and oval respectively not floodlit when they are on a working day?) People will have been excited when they found out that they had an odi v ban or pak and then they find out it's on a working day and if they want to go, they have to take a day off work or school. Also it's bad for people watching at home. I think that all t20i and ODI games should be floodlit if they are on a working day. However nice idea to end 4th test at lords v pak on bank holiday.
