Darren Gough & Nasser Hussain

Darren Gough and Nasser Hussain during their days as England colleagues. Could you be about to join them on the teamsheet?

“For everyone it’s an atmosphere to be savoured and an occasion to be enjoyed.”

England’s international season starts with the arrival of Bangladesh who will play two npower Tests and a three-match NatWest Series.

The ever improving Tigers will be hoping Shakib Al Hasan can reproduce the form that saw the crowned the 2009 Wisden Test Cricketer of the Year.

Next summer also sees the return of Ricky Ponting’s Australian team to English soil. Will Andrew Strauss’ new-look one-day team be able to take revenge for last season’s NatWest Series defeat to the old enemy from down under?

For the grand finale England welcome the current ICC World Twenty20 Champions Pakistan. The atmosphere in the ground promises to be electric and the support fervent.

With players of the calibre of Shahid Afridi, Umar Gul, Mohammed Youssef and Younis Khan it’s going to be a summer festival of big hits and plenty of wickets.

This will be your last chance to see the England Team before it heads down under in search of a first Ashes victory on Australian soil since the 1986-87 tour.

Anyone who’s already bought a ticket for an England home international match next summer has automatically been entered into this competition.

Nasser Hussain might be a little nervous about coming out of retirement to play in this Twenty20 match but he's excited about the arrival of Pakistan and Bangladesh next summer
