Adjournment in Westfield and Kaneria hearing

The ECB today announced an adjournment to the Disciplinary Panel hearing at which charges will be heard relating to alleged breaches of ECB’s anti-corruption directives by Mervyn Westfield and Danish Kaneria.

The hearing, which was previously scheduled for May 21, has been adjourned to the week commencing June 18 at the request of Kaneria’s lawyers.

The chairman of the ECB’s Cricket Discipline Commission, Gerard Elias QC, will chair the hearing and ECB will make no further comment while these proceedings are ongoing.
