England batsman Kevin Pietersen has today been ruled out of the fifth and final one-day international against India after suffering a fractured thumb during the fourth ODI in Mumbai.
Scans have revealed Pietersen has a fractured left thumb after being struck while fielding during the second innings of Sunday's match.
