TwelfthMan: My account

Matt Prior will rest a finger injury this week, but he is set to feature in Sussex's championship clash against Yorkshire
With the exception of James Anderson (Lancashire), Stuart Broad (Nottinghamshire), Matt Prior (Sussex) and Andrew Strauss (Middlesex), all England players involved in the NatWest Series will be available to their counties for the Twenty20 Cup fixtures from Wednesday May 27 to Friday May 29.
Those players in England's World Twenty20 squad will report to Nottingham on Saturday and are therefore unavailable to their counties for Saturday's Twenty20 Cup fixtures.
Prior will be rested for the duration of Sussex's Twenty20 Cup campaign due to an injured right ring finger but will be available for his county's LV= County Championship against Yorkshire from June 6-9.
Strauss will take no part in Middlesex's Twenty20 Cup schedule but will be available for his county's championship match against Essex from June 6-9.
England team director Andy Flower said: “James Anderson and Stuart Broad will be rested from this week's Twenty20 Cup fixtures due to their recent heavy workloads during the npower Test series and the NatWest Series against West Indies.
“We believe they will benefit from a brief rest ahead of the World Twenty20. Matt Prior will be rested from the Twenty20 Cup as he needs to allow time for his injured finger to recover properly.
"Andrew Strauss will not take part in Middlesex's Twenty20 Cup campaign in order to focus on the longer form of the game ahead of the Ashes."
