Fuller handed penalty
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today confirmed that Gloucestershire’s James Fuller has received a penalty under the ECB’s discipline code.
During the Second XI Twenty20 match between Gloucestershire and Somerset on June 12 2012, Fuller was reported by umpires Nigel Cowley and Jim Anning for a Level One breach of the code (bowling an accidental high, full-pitched ball that results in the bowler being disallowed from bowling any further in that innings).
Fuller has received a reprimand. This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.
