Hilliard joins ECB

Nigel Hilliard, the Essex chairman, was elected unopposed by the 18 first-class counties and the MCC for the vacancy on the England and Wales Cricket board created by the recent election of Giles Clarke as ECB chairman.

Mr Hilliard is, therefore, elected to the board with immediate effect.
