Hodge and Mahmood penalised
The England and Wales Cricket Board today confirmed Brad Hodge and Sajid Mahmood have received penalties under the ECB's discipline code.
During the Friends Provident t20 game between Leicestershire Foxes and Lancashire Lightning on Friday, Hodge was reported by umpires George Sharp and Peter Hartley for a level one breach of the code (abuse of cricket ground, equipment or fixtures/fittings).
During the England Lions match against West Indies A yesterday, Mahmood was reported by umpires Rob Bailey and Peter Willey for the same level breach.
Both players have received a reprimand. This penalty will remain on their records for a period of two years. Any further level one breach during that period will result in an automatic imposition of three penalty points.
