“This is in recognition of the important role they have played in the England side in recent months and their potential to develop still further as cricketers over the next 12-month period.”

Twelve teams will compete in the competition, with England drawn in a group alongside defending champions Australia, Bangladesh and Ireland. The tournament will be staged at Kowloon Cricket Club from October 28-30 and Hamilton-Brown will be looking to secure England’s first win since 2008.
