Injured Meaker heads home
After picking up an injury to his lower back, Surrey seamer Stuart Meaker will play no further part in England Lions' winter programme
Fast bowler Stuart Meaker has been ruled out of the remainder of England Lions' tour of Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates due to a lower back injury.
Meaker will return to the UK immediately for further assessment before continuing his rehabilitation with Surrey.
Kent seamer Matt Coles will join the Lions for the remaining matches against Sri Lanka A in Sri Lanka and the fixture against the senior England team in Abu Dhabi.
Coles, 21, has been called up from the Potential England Performance Programme in Chennai.
