Injury worry for Pietersen
The Hampshire and England batsman Kevin Pietersen suffered a calf strain whilst he was fielding in Monday's Friends Provident Trophy match between Hampshire and Ireland.
He underwent a precautionary MRI scan earlier on Tuesday and has been withdrawn from the LV County Championship match against Lancashire, which starts on Wednesday.
A further assessment of the injury will be made later this week.
