Hugh Morris to act as ECB chief executive
Hugh Morris
England and Wales Cricket Board chairman, David Morgan, has announced that from Friday October 1 2004, until such time as the new chief executive takes up his position, Hugh Morris, ECB Performance Director, will act as ECB Chief Executive.
John Carr, ECB Director of Cricket Operations, will take over Tim Lamb's responsibilities in connection with the International Cricket Council and IDI (ICC Development International).
The current chief executive, Tim Lamb, leaves his post at the ECB on Thursday September 30.
