Lions squad announcement put back

The announcement of the England Lions squad to face West Indies at Derby in a four-day match beginning on April 30 has been delayed after a number of players being considered for selection picked up injuries this weekend.

The squad, scheduled to be announced tomorrow (Monday), will now be released in midweek after the selectors and ECB medical team have had time to assess the fitness of the players involved.

A further update on the exact timing of the squad announcement will be made as soon as possible.
