Lord Morris remains on ECB board
Giles Clarke, the chairman of the England and Wales Cricket board, today announced that Lord Morris of Handsworth has accepted his invitation to continue as the independent member of the ECB board.
Clarke said: “Lord Morris has been an extremely valuable member of the board and has made significant contributions to the game - especially in his role as chairman of the major match group. I am delighted that he accepted my invitation and that the board unanimously approved his appointment."
Lord Morris will now serve until March 31, 2011.
