The England and Wales Cricket Board have confirmed that Hampshire's Neil McKenzie has received a penalty under the ECB's discipline code.

During the Friends Life t20 final on August 25 between Hampshire and Yorkshire, McKenzie was reported by Rob Bailey and Michael Gough for a Level One breach of the code (showing dissent at an Umpires decision by word or action).

He has received a reprimand. This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two year period will result in an automatic suspension.
