Plunkett reprimanded for beamers
The England and Wales Cricket Board today confirmed Durham's Liam Plunkett has received a penalty under the ECB's discipline code.
During the Friends Life t20 match between Durham and Nottinghamshire on June 29 2012, Plunkett was reported by umpires Nick Cook and David Millns for a Level One breach of the code (bowling an accidental high full-pitched ball that results in the bowler being disallowed from bowling any further in that innings).
He has received a reprimand. This penalty will remain on his record for a period of two years and the accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.
