Solanki receives penalty

Vikram Solanki captains Worcestershire against Leicestershire in a championship match at Grace Road earlier this season
The ECB has today confirmed that Worcestershire captain Vikram Solanki has received a penalty under the ECB’s discipline code.
During the LV= County Championship match against Derbyshire from May 17-20, Solanki was reported by umpires David Millns and Nigel Llong for a Level Two breach of the code (throwing the ball at or near a player, umpire or official in an inappropriate and dangerous manner).
He has received three penalty points, which will remain on his record for a period of two years. The accumulation of nine or more penalty points in any two-year period will result in an automatic suspension.
