Michael Vaughan inspects his broken finger at the Rose Bowl

England captain Michael Michael Vaughan has undergone X-rays that confirmed he has an undisplaced fracture to his right middle finger.

Vaughan suffered the injury after being struck on the hand whilst batting for Yorkshire against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl on Thursday.

He has been ruled out of the remainder of the LV County Championship match.

Vaughan will undergo further assessment ahead of the 1st npower Test against West Indies at Lord's, starting on May 17.
