Colin Graves - ECB Deputy Chairman
Colin Graves is the Chairman of Yorkshire CCC and joined the ECB Board in 2010. He was elected as ECB’s Deputy Chairman following the completion of the election process in March 2013 - and elected as its next Chairman (in February 2015) to succeed Giles Clarke following the ECB Annual General Meeting in May.
He founded the York-based Supermarket chain Costcutter in 1986 and oversaw its growth into a franchise network of more than 1,700 stores.
He has played club cricket for Dunnington CC in the Yorkshire and District Premier League for nearly 30 years and is the President of the club.
He was nominated for the Deputy Chairman post after winning a ballot of the Chairmen of the First Class Counties and MCC and succeeded Dennis Amiss, who announced his intention to stand down from the post at the ECB’s AGM in May 2013.
