Peter Wright - Chairman of cricket
Peter Wright is the Chairman of Nottinghamshire and was appointed to the ECB Management Board in 2010.
He was re-elected for a further three year term in April 2012 unopposed. He was nominated by Yorkshire, seconded by Middlesex and Warwickshire, and will serve on the Board until the ECB’s 2015 Annual General Meeting.
He has been the Managing Director of Gunn and Moore, the Nottingham-based company which first began producing cricket bats in 1885, for the past 25 years.
Peter has had a long association with Nottinghamshire CCC and played for the county’s Under 19 team and Second XI as an off-spinning all-rounder.
He also captained the Midlands Cricket Club Conference and played for the National Cricket Association’s representative XI.
