Free places for young officials

ECB ACO has again linked up with the London Youth Games to provide a one-off young officials course at Lord’s.

Taking place on Saturday 19 January, the three-hour course will run from 10am and cover the basics of umpiring, including preparation, positioning and decision making.

The course will be free of charge but you must be a member of the volunteer programme GamesForce.

In order to complete the qualification you will need to be available on at least two of the following days - 2, 3, 9 and 10 February - where you will be putting the skills learnt into practice at a London Youth Games competition.
