MCC - Spirit of Cricket
The MCC, under their banner of the Spirit of Cricket, are the sponsors of the 20 overs-a-side MCC Spirit of Cricket National Under 13 Club Championship, which attracts an entry of nearly 1700 clubs from 40 counties.
Each county organises their own competitions to produce a county winner who progress into a National Competition.
The 40 counties are divided into eight regions and the county winners play knock-out rounds to get down to four clubs to play at each of the eight Regional Finals. The eight regional winners then go on to compete in the National Finals where each side plays each other over the week in a League format.
Harrow St Mary’s from Middlesex took the MCC Spirit of Cricket U13 National Club Championships title for 2006 after leaving finals week at Oakham School with a 100 per cent record.
