Ageas Bowl prepares for Family Festival

Tickets have gone on sale for the 2013 Ageas Bowl Family Festival.

The event, which was fully subscribed within 48 hours last summer, takes place on August 11, the day of Hampshire Royals' Yorkshire Bank 40 match against Essex Eagles.

Live music and activities for all the family will be available, with adult tickets costing just £5 and Under-16s gaining free admission.

Stuart Robertson, commercial director at the Ageas Bowl, said; "I am delighted that, with the support of our ground naming partner, Ageas, we are able to open up the ground to the local community once again this season.

"Both teams are competing for semi-final qualification from Group B so the cricket should be fantastic. But it is also a great opportunity for people who, perhaps, haven't watched a lot of cricket or don't usually come to matches here to give it a go and experience a great day out all round.

"It's a Sunday in the middle of the children's summer holidays - what better opportunity to try something new?"

Tickets are available online via the Hampshire Cricket tickets website, or over the phone on 0844 847 1863 (24 hours a day). You can also buy them in person at The Ageas Bowl ticket office during normal office hours.
